Self-introduction
I started my career as a scientist with my interest in sex-steroid and thyroid hormones. That was the heyday of nuclear receptors! Since then, investigations of toxicological effects of environmental chemicals and ionizing radiation have come to my playing field. Recently we have initiated an international collaborative study with universities in Kazakhstan to understand the biological effects of radioactive particles produced by A-bomb. It is a kind of experience like visiting old, knowing new. It is always fun to enter new territory (literally).
