Self-introduction
He specializes in science and technology policy, higher education policy, and science and technology studies. He has worked at Tokyo Institute of Technology, University of Electro-Communications, NISTEP, University of Tsukuba, JST, AIST, National Diet Library, etc. Since 2018, he has been the Director of the Research and Development Center for Higher Education at Hiroshima University, and from FY2010 he will also serve as the Dean of the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is a recipient of the Commendation for Science and Technology by MEXT.
