レーザー光や放射光を使って、物質の中で起きている見えない変化を探る研究をしています。温度や磁場、電場といった環境を変えると、物質は思いがけないふるまいを見せます。 その「なぜ?」を解き明かし、新しい材料の理解や、「まだ見ぬ物質の面白さ」の発見につなげることを目指しています。
