自己紹介
神経内科専門医・指導医。2012年広島大学大学院脳神経内科学博士課程修了。2015-2017年日本学術振興会海外特別研究員(米国Mayo Clinic)、2017-2019年アメリカ心臓協会(AHA)東海岸選抜フェロー(同)。2019年広島大学病院 助教、2021年より現職。 ▼8年間の米国滞在中は、アメリカ国立衛生研究所(NIH)をはじめとする研究費(グラント)サポートを受け、Principal Investigatorとして研究を主導、また多施設共同研究の中核メンバーとして多くの海外研究者と共に最先端の研究に従事する機会に恵まれました。▼臨床医としての修練経験(Lancet 2008, Muscle & Nerve 2010, J Headache Pain 2011, J Neurol 2011, Cephalalgia 2013)とサブスペシャリティー(J Biol Chem 2015, Stroke 2016, Acta Neuropathol 2016, PNAS 2019, J Clin Invest 2019, Brain 2019, Nat Rev Neurol 2019, Arter Thromb Vasc Biol 2020, Neuron 2021, Nature Neuroscience 2022)を活かすとともに、至誠をもって診療にあたる脳神経内科医になることが現在の目標です。▼広島大学医学部優秀学生表彰(卓越した学業成績および研究業績に対して)、広島大学エクセレント・スチューデント・スカラシップ(卓越した成績および研究業績に対して)、アメリカ心臓協会東海岸選抜研究員(卓越した研究計画および業績に対して)、広島大学特に優れた研究を行う若手教員(DR:Distinguished Researcher)認定(卓越した研究業績および診療・教育への貢献に対して)ほか。▼若手大学院生のキャリアアップ支援に積極的に取り組んでいます。例えば、2021年より神経研究班のグループリーダーとして指導を行い、その成果として、直接指導した大学院生が日本学術振興会特別研究員に複数採用されています(2023年度に1名、2024年度に2名、2025年度に1名)。
