広島大学放射光科学研究センターにおいて、紫外線〜真空紫外線域の放射光を用いた高分解能角度分解光電子分光実験により、磁性体、超伝導体などの電子状態を明らかにし、固体がもつ性質の起源を理解することを目指しています。
