自己紹介
高校卒業後に渡米し，ニューヨーク州立大学ストニーブルック校に進学，大学院ではテキサス大学オースティン校で学びました。その後はチェコ共和国のマサリク大学でポスドク研究員を経て，広島大学に着任しました。　　　　　　　　　　　　アメリカで勉強してきたアタッチメント理論（愛着理論）を軸に，親子関係・友人関係・恋愛関係など人の関係性の発達と変化について研究しています。特に，人がアタッチメントの関係性において，不安を安心に変えるプロセスを研究しています。人と人との関係性の大切さを理解し、人生の豊かさ、幸福とは何かを追求しています。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　質問、研究の相談、研究室への訪問など、是非、お気軽にお問い合わせください。

The developmental transfer of attachment figures: Do you prefer to engage in attachment behaviors with the parents, friends, or romantic partner?, Umemura, T., 2014年12月05日, 招待, 英語, オランダ・フローニンゲン大学心理学部, オランダのフローニンゲン大学心理学部に2ヶ月滞在し、これまで主に自然科学や経済学などの分野で使われてきた、数学とコンピューターシミュレーションを使用して理論的なモデルを構築する『動的システムズアプローチ(dynamic systems approach)』(DSA)を、この分野の第一人者であるSaskia Kunnen准教授のもとで勉強した。そして、幼児期から成人期までの人間関係の選好発達について、DSAを用いてモデル化し、フローニンゲン大学の研究者や学生の方々に発表した。

  25. The transition of primary attachment figures in adolescence: Trajectories, predictors and outcomes., 2018年08月23日, 招待, 英語, チェコ共和国、マサリク大学心理学部, 青年期の人間関係の選考の変化について、チェコ共和国で収集した2年間の縦断研究データを用いて発表した。最も重要なアタッチメント対象者を親から仲間に移した青年は、その後、親を最も重要な対象者として再び認識することは稀であることが分かった。
