2015年1月1日、歯髄生物学研究室の担当教授になりました。非常に新しい研究室です。研究室の目標は、生物学的歯内療法という新しい概念に基づく歯内療法を実用化して、広島大学病院を発信地とした新しい高度な歯科医療を展開させることです。歯を抜歯せず、積極的に保存することによって、健康長寿へ貢献します。
