Self-introduction
I am engaged in observational studies using the MAGIC telescopes and CTAO-LST on La Palma Island, Spain, aiming to explore physics in extreme environments associated with gamma-ray bursts—the most powerful explosions in the universe—and to elucidate the origin of Galactic cosmic rays. I am also involved in the Super-Kamiokande and Hyper-Kamiokande experiments to pursue multi-messenger astronomy and physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. In addition, I am contributing to the next-generation space gamma-ray mission AMEGO-X, and working on the development of a novel semiconductor sensor, AstroPix, in collaboration with NASA in the United States and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. I am also developing a new domestically produced semiconductor detector, OROCHI, based on SOI technology in collaboration with Miyazaki University and other institutions.
