Self-introduction
In the Urban and Architectural Planning Laboratory, we are conducting research to elucidate the mechanisms of various phenomena that occur in cities, regions, and architectural spaces. Specifically, our research focuses on disasters, the environment (Climate, hydrological, ecological, geotechnical, energy), and society (resident's life, human flows, population dynamics, etc.), using GIS (Geographic Information System) and other digital technologies to understand these phenomena spatially. We are also developing planning methods for cities, regions, and architecture based on this scientific understanding (evidence). At the same time, as a practical activity, we are promoting urban planning, community development, and architectural development in collaboration with local government agencies and residents.
