Self-introduction
There are lots of mysteries in our universe. How was the universe created? From the observations of gravitational lenses, it is considered that the universe is filled with unknown matter, dark matter. The motion of supernovae suggests the existence of a mysterious energy, dark energy, that fills our universe. It looks like three-quarters of our universe is filled with dark energy. What is the dark matter and dark energy? Is it true that most of the universe is filled with unknown materials? There are also more fundamental questions. Why are there three spacial directions? Are there really only three? In our laboratory, we approach these questions by using analytical calculations and computer simulations on physical phenomena at high energy that cannot be reached by experiments.
