Self-introduction
Fumiyuki Yamasaki was born in Okayama, Japan in 1969. He completed his Clinical Residency in Neurosurgery at Kure National Hospital, Kure, Japan in 1996. He received the the Ph.D. degree from the Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Prefecture, Japan in 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he was a Research Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas, Houston, Texas. F. Yamasaki is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery, at the Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan. He is skilled in surgical neuro-oncology, neuro-oncology and pediatric neuro-oncology. He is also skilled in diagnostic neuroradiology including MRI, PET/CT, and functional/advanced imaging.
