Self-introduction
Drawing on my experience teaching Japanese at universities overseas, I have been committed to sharing the richness, depth, and appeal of the Japanese language with international students from diverse backgrounds. In recent years, I have also developed a strong interest in bilingual education and have been conducting research in this field. My academic specialization is in classical Japanese literature and comparative studies of Chinese and Japanese literature. In particular, my research focuses on uncovering the broader networks of ancient East Asia that lie beneath Japanese literature and culture, and positioning literary works within that historical and cultural context.
