2014年テキサス工科大学博士課程修了.Ph.D.(Mathematics).ペンシルベニア大学博士研究員,奈良先端科学技術大学院大学助教,大阪大学准教授を経て,2024年より広島大学大学院先進理工系科学研究科教授.群制御,人工知能,自己組織化,複雑システムを専門とし,生物群,ロボット群,交通・都市システムなど,多数の要素が相互作用するシステムの理解と制御に取り組んでいる.2012年計測自動制御学会論文賞,2018年計測自動制御学会制御部門大会賞,2019年IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering Best Paper Award Runner-up,2021年計測自動制御学会著述賞,2023年システム数理と応用研究会優秀論文賞(2024年受賞).
