- I am a structural geologist by training. My research integrates empirical and theoretical studies on brittle deformation structures utilizing field observations, microstructural analysis, and analytical approaches. I am also interested in volcano-tectonics, particularly the emplacement dynamics of intrusive igneous sheets, and in the evolution of orogenic belts, with a focus on reconstructing stress states and the complex three-dimensional geometries these systems develop over time.
