Self-introduction
I am a structural geologist specializing in the evolution and interaction of brittle deformation structures in the upper crust. My research integrates empirical and theoretical studies utilizing field observations, microstructural analysis, and numerical approaches to elucidate their implications for tectonic evolution. I am also interested in volcano-tectonics, particularly the emplacement dynamics of intrusive igneous sheets, and in the evolution of orogenic belts, with a focus on reconstructing stress states and the complex three-dimensional geometries these systems develop over time.
