Self-introduction
Epidemiology is one of essential sciences to prevent diseases and control, and is one of the method of social medicine. Social medicine is the social applicability of the clinical medicine and the basic medicine. Epidemiology data analysis/analyses based on a pathogenesis becomes effective, and a measure of hepatitis and liver cancer has been developed. Various applicability to the disease measure, country-by-country comparison epidemiologic study and international contribution have been begun. In our laboratory, we plan and conduct in silico research and in vitro research: In silico research (big data analysis, theoretical epidemiology, cost-effectiveness, biostatistics, validation of medical receipt) In vitro research, ie laboratory research on hepatitis virus (virus gene analysis, immunoserology, standardization of measurement system, etc.) MPH graduate school education is being performed in our department and human resources in Hygiene and Public Health sciences with the research mind have being brought up
