- Self-introduction
- I completed my PhD in Human and Nature Interaction in Ecology at Hiroshima University, Japan. My research investigated generational changes in children's nature experiences and the socio-ecological drivers of nature disconnection (supervised by Prof. Tetsuro Hosaka, 2019-2023). My work bridges ecological science and social behavior, focusing on how modernization and urbanization reshape human relationships with nature. I have conducted extensive questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to explore ways to restore children's connection to nature. My current research adopts an interdisciplinary approach to inform strategies for sustainable nature conservation, especially by re-engaging children and families with nature in modern urban societies.
