Self-introduction
We have been carrying out some interesting research about comprehensive evaluation of the tricuspid valve in patients with tricuspid regurgitation (TR) using real-time three-dimensional (3D) transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), assessing the cause, mechanism, location, severity, and cardiac response to TR. Also, our group has investigated the usefulness of intraprocedural 3DTEE during newly developed transcatheter treatment for valvular heart disease, such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and MitraClip procedure.
