Self-introduction
1. Physiological adaptations of motor system to metabolic disease, inactivity, and exercise We are investigating novel treatment to reinforce the effectiveness of exercise. Main targets of the treatment are skeletal muscle, adipose tissue, liver, pancreas, and brain. We have reported the influences of exercise in skeletal muscle regeneration, inactivity, pulmonary hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. 2. Complementary and alternative treatments in severe disease with inactivity Exercise to some disorder with inactivity is widely accepted as a method to promote improvement of motor dysfunction. Although the effectiveness of exercise in the treatment of various medical condition is proven and established, many patients dislike physical activity and this therapeutic exercise is often inconsistently practiced. We have reported the influences of hyperbaric treatment as complementary and alternative treatments in skeletal muscle regeneration and diabetes with obesity. 3. Physical exercise with biomedical sensors The purpose of this study is development of motion coaching system by using artificial inteligence (AI). Automated motion analysis by biomedical sensors could detect modifications and improve exercise performance. We believe that this development could depend on resolution of children's dislike for physical activity.
