Self-introduction
Machines and devices in our daily lives get worn out and eventually break over time. While creating something that will never break is difficult, it is possible to create items that are more resistant to damage and less prone to breaking. To achieve this, it is crucial to understand the mechanisms behind "item failure." We conduct research on how items get damaged and broken, which helps us develop new materials that are more durable. Additionally, by accurately assessing the life of items until failure, we aim to ensure the safe operation of machines and devices.
