- Self-introduction
- He is a Specially Appointed Associate Professor at the Research Institute for Synchrotron Radiation Science (HiSOR), Hiroshima University, Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Lorraine, France, in 2017, specializing in synthetic organic and supramolecular chemistry. From 2019 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Lorraine, focusing on the synthesis of functional polymers using photo-induced RAFT polymerization.
He joined HiSOR, Hiroshima University, in 2021. His research integrates organic, supramolecular, and polymer chemistry with synchrotron radiation spectroscopy to investigate the structures and conformations of biomolecules, macromolecules, marine-derived polymers, and polysaccharides, complemented by techniques such as NMR, FTIR, SAXS, etc. At HiSOR BL-12, he focuses on CD/SRCD-based structural analysis and the development of LC–SRCD systems for the real-time separation and conformational analysis of chiral biomolecules, with potential applications in environmental, biomedical, and industrial fields.

Publications such as books
- 2026, MICROBIAL ALCHEMY, This book provides a comprehensive overview of microbial alchemy, focusing on how microorganisms produce valuable materials through metabolic processes. It explains the chemistry behind microbial metabolism and highlights its applications in sustainable product development. The book also covers the full production pipeline, from the screening and isolation of industrial microorganisms to downstream processing, purification, and quality improvement of microbial products.
Chapter 2: Microorganisms are an important source of bioproducts that play a vital role in human, animal, and plant life. Their metabolic products are broadly classified into primary metabolites, such as enzymes, amino acids, organic acids, vitamins, and alcohols, which are essential for growth and widely used in nutrition and industrial biotransformation, and secondary metabolites, which are produced mainly during the stationary growth phase and are not directly involved in growth or reproduction. Microbial metabolites have a strong global market presence and are widely applied across the pharmaceutical, agricultural, food, and industrial sectors. Key products include amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, organic acids, alcohols, antibiotics, chemotherapeutic agents, immunosuppressants, alkaloids, and biopesticides. These compounds contribute significantly to improving health by reducing infectious diseases, enhancing quality of life, and supporting the biopharmaceutical industry. Additionally, microbial products play a crucial role in sustainable agriculture and food production, as well as in various industrial applications, highlighting their broad and growing importance in modern biotechnology and economic development., MICROBIAL ALCHEMY
