Self-introduction
Periodontitis is an inflammatory periodontal tissue-destructive disease attributed to host immune responses to periodontal pathogenic bacteria, which leads to tooth loss. Otherwise, tissue regenerative therapy using stem cells, which exerts self-renewing properties and multipotency, has attracted scientific and medical attention. Thus, using mesenchymal stem cells and our own developed three-dimensional culture system, we will develop the novel promising periodontal tissue regenerative cell therapy.
